Family Conferences
New residents are assessed by a team of nursing, pharmacy, social services, activities, restorative services and dietary personnel and a plan of care is developed. This assessment is reviewed every three months and the plan of care is revised as needed. Our resident and his or her family is invited to each of these quarterly conferences. We encourage resident and family involvement in developing and revising the plan of care.
Activities
The ECU has organized activity programming to provide daily involvement in group and individual activities. Family and friends are encouraged to participate and assist in any activities. Crafts, bingo, handicapped accessible van outings, special needs, and reading groups are examples of some of the activities offered. Resident counsel meetings are held monthly
Social Services
Our social services department is available to assist residents and families with admission, advance directives, including durable power of attorney for health care, end of life decisions, financial information, other community resources.
Spiritual Support
Church services, communion, rosary, and bible studies are provided by local churches. Our chapel is available for services, private meditation, prayer and memorial services. If you wish to visit with clergy, our staff will assist you in obtaining spiritual counseling and support any time.
