Career Opportunities

Director of Nursing Services

We are currently searching for a Director of Nursing Services.  This position will oversee the nursing function in the departments of Medical/Surgical, Emergency, Infusion, Wound Care, and Cardiac Services.  The primary schedule for this position is days, Monday-Friday, but does require flexibility based on patient and staffing needs.  The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 

Required:  BSN degree; 5 years of clinical nursing experience; ability to manage, grow, and develop staff; strong team building skills; knowledge of budgeting in a nursing department along with scheduling and FTE allocation; and excellent communication skills.

Preferred:  nursing education experience; supervisory or management experience; experience working in a union environment;  strong clinical skills in medical-surgical and/or emergency department; and emergency critical care experience.

Rehabilitation Coordinator/Aide

We are currently searching for a dual role Rehabilitation Coordinator and Rehabilitation Aide to work primarily in our inpatient Rehabilitation Department.  This position is responsible for clerical duties as well as assisting in patient care.  The schedule for this position is days, Monday-Friday.  The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 

Required:  Certified Nursing Assistant in Wisconsin; CPR certification; moderate computer knowledge and skills; flexible and adaptable attitude; excellent customer service and people skills; ability to answer the phone; ability to multitask and handle a fast paced department with multiple responsibilities; and ability to take blood pressure with stethoscope and cuff.

Preferred:  Exercise experience and instruction.

EMT, Basic/A-EMT/IV Tech

We are currently searching for an Emergency Medical Technician.  The primary schedule will be 7a-7p or 7p-7a.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:  Certified EMT-B, EMT-IVT or Advanced EMT in the State of Wisconsin.  Not yet certified?  We have a scholarship program designed for applicants that are interested in financial assistance for the program and working for Cumberland Healthcare.  Please call 715-822-7260 for more information on the scholarship program.

We are currently searching for a licensed counselor qualified to work primarily in our clinical setting.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:  Graduate of an accredited program with completed hours required; Licensed Counselor in Wisconsin.

We are currently searching for a Family Practice Physician.  Our organization offers the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of medicine.  Cumberland Healthcare is a 25-bed facility with inpatient, outpatient, medical, surgical, obstetric and emergency care.  Our physicians can earn extra income providing Emergency Department coverage.  The physician group is well established, making this the ideal location for physicians to practice in a community with highly respected schools, an accredited hospital, busy medical clinic, community theater, and many thriving industries, local businesses, and restaurants.
