Career Opportunities

Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical and ER, Full-time or Part-time

Cumberland Healthcare is currently searching for a dynamic Registered Nurse to work primarily in our Medical/Surgical and Emergency Departments.  Shifts are a mixture of days/nights.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program; Current and unrestricted RN license in the State of WI, or ability to obtain;  Medical/Surgical and/or Emergency experience preferred.

Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist, Full-time

Cumberland Healthcare is currently searching for a full-time MLT or MT to work primarily in our hospital laboratory.  The hours are mainly Days/PMs, including a weekend and holiday rotation.  On-call may occur only if a night position is vacated.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:  MT or MLT in the state of WI or eligible, excellent communication skills, and hospital laboratory experience preferred.

Phlebotomist, Full-time

We are currently searching for a full-time Phlebotomist to work in our Hospital/Clinic.  The shift would include Monday-Friday Days, but may include possible PMs and an occasional Saturday morning rotation from time to time.  The main location is at our Cumberland facility, but may also include our Turtle Lake Clinic at times as well.

The successful candidate will have completed a Phlebotomy Course, be a Certified Medical Assistant, or will have equivalent training.  In addition, they will have excellent computer skills, communication skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Surgical Registered Nurse, Full-time

Cumberland Healthcare is currently searching for a dynamic Registered Nurse to work primarily in our Surgery Department, but that may also work in our Medical/Surgical Department from time to time. Shifts are primarily days.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program; Current and unrestricted RN license in the State of WI, or ability to obtain;  Surgery experience including pre-op, post-op, circulating case and recovery (PAR/PACU) independently; CPR certified; ACLS certified within 1 year; and willing to take surgical call within 20 minutes of the facility.

Respiratory Therapist, Per Diem

We are currently searching for a per diem Respiratory Therapist to fill in for vacations, etc.  This position would be primarily on-call, but may have some scheduled hours as well.  This would be a great opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist looking for some additional call hours! 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Required: Registered Respiratory Therapist in Wisconsin; Active NBRC license, One year of clinical experience with acute care competence; Moderate computer knowledge and skills; flexible and adaptable attitude; and excellent customer service and people skills.

Medical Coder, Full-time

We are currently searching for a full-time Medical Coder to work in our Health Information Department. The shift would include Monday-Friday Days, but we would entertain a flexible schedule.

The successful candidate will have satisfactorily completed a Medical Record Technician Program or equivalent work experience; would have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibility; would have knowledge of medical coding guidelines and practices, including ICD-10; would have office equipment knowledge and skills, including computer, printer, copy machine, fax and telephone.

Housekeeper, Reserve

We are currently searching for a Housekeeper to fill in from time to time.  Hours could be Days, PMs, Weekends and/or Holidays.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:  Hospital and/or Clinic housekeeping experience a plus, along with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
