We are seeking a Reserve Housekeeper to join our team at Cumberland Healthcare. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care we provide in our facility. This is a Reserve position meaning filling in if a housekeeping team member is on vacation, out for illness, calls in, etc. Although our Reserve Staff are not benefit eligible, they do earn 20% more in pay per hour.  Hours per week can be variable.  Day and/or Evenings hour availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, common areas, and administrative offices.
• Ensure all areas are sanitized and maintained according to health and safety standards.
• Manage waste disposal and maintain proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Days and/or PM availability.
