Job Overview/Duties
Cumberland Healthcare is currently searching for a Medical Billing Specialist to work out of the Business Office with an emphasis on Medicare Billing. The medical biller is responsible for preparing and submitting insurance claims to insurance companies and other payers for reimbursement. They are also responsible for data entry in relation to the billing process. Our Medical Billers enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Previous experience with insurance billing required, with experience in Medicare and/or Medicare Advantage plans a plus; Knowledge of 3rd party payer billing requirements; Excellent communication skills; Understanding of basic accounting principles; Knowledge of CPT and ICT/10 Coding; Ability to work with insurance companies and patients; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and Excellent customer service skills.
