CUMBERLAND, WI – On Monday, December 12, 2016, the Cumberland Healthcare Extended Care Unit held an open house to celebrate a new addition consisting of 16 private rooms, a dining area and a rehabilitation services treatment space. In an effort to keep services local, Cumberland Healthcare used many local contractors on the project.

Cumberland Healthcare partnered with Care and Rehab, Inc. Care and Rehab, Inc. will assume operations of the Extended Care Unit beginning on January 1, 2017. Cumberland Healthcare will continue to own the building and lease the premises to Care and Rehab, Inc.

The open house brought in over 150 community members and included a short presentation, ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of the new area and light refreshments.
